My new necklace – made from a vintage arcade token. Makes me think of weekends, boardwalks and old arcades.

Blue was the subject for today. Instead of doing something bright and colorful (as usual), I tried out something more subdued. It felt rather uncomfortable – colors should be electric, not anemic!

Today’s @dailyshoot assignment didn’t do anything for me. It is to be a photo of hands.
I’m getting ready to submit a picture to Pictory in the “I made this” category. I knew it would be of this necklace and how it has come to be my wearable reminder to live the artistic life. So, I took this picture to kill two birds with one stone.
Necklace + hands = Look at this cool thing I made, and sit there while I tell you what it stands for!

Made a spectrum necklace, ranging from the darkest red to the lightest purples and pinks so if my day is not sufficiently colorful, I can whip this baby out!
