Blue was the subject for today. Instead of doing something bright and colorful (as usual), I tried out something more subdued. It felt rather uncomfortable – colors should be electric, not anemic!

JPG magazine is cool because they use a voting system to decide what photo submissions to print in each issue. I periodically submit something and hope it will resonate with some voters and get picked up. The day that ever happens is the day I will cartwheel across the front lawn filled with joy.
Heard today that they are doing a photo challenge on doorways, which is perfect because I have taken many shots of the red doors at Trinity Episcopal downtown. Like that the street sign is shadowed across the doors – don’t like that there was no way to position the shot without the garbage bin being in the way.
