Angel paper

Unlike yesterday, today’s @ dailyshoot assignment was a snap.

The photo was to be of the most inexpensive thing you cherish.  That was easy.  My daughter has never really been the sentimental, I-drew-you-a-picture-mom type, so I was pleasantly surprised on one of the times that she did present me with a picture that was just for me.  I can’t recall when she did this, or how old she was.  I asked her what it was a picture of, and she told me it was an angel.  I folded it and put it in my purse.

Before long, I realized it had taken on a whole new significance. When I change purses now, I always make sure it goes in the new one and I don’t travel without it.  Over time, it has started to fall apart.  As you can see, there is a big piece missing, but I’m pretty sure it is floating around my purse.  I had to take tonight’s picture quickly and didn’t get to find it in time.
